Colon hydrotherapy is a safe, effective method of removing waste from the large intestine without the use of drugs. We introduce temperature regulated, filtered and structured Lake Superior water into the colon softening waste to be evacuated through the body's natural peristalsis.
Contraindications for colon hydrotherapy include severe cardiac disease (uncontrolled hypertension or congestive heart failure), aneurysm, GI hemorrhage/perforation, severe hemorrhoids, renal insufficiency, carcinoma of the colon or rectum, fissures/fistulas, advanced pregnancy, abdominal hernia, recent colon or rectal surgery. We encourage a working relationship with a medical physician.
Our colonics are discrete and relaxing, and are performed while lying on the side or back depending on personal comfort. The colon hydrotherapist facilitates the entire session, which is a series of "fills" and "releases" – filtered, structured water is gently directed into the colon up to the level of comfort, then the waste is released through the body's natural peristalsis. Basic body-work and massage techniques are utilized throughout the session to calm the mind and engage the body. A session can be anywhere from 30-45 minutes on the table.
Basic colon hydrotherapy sessions with Molly are offered at a flat rate of $100. Deluxe sessions with Molly and Cari are offered for an additional $35/hour.
The Closed System Colon Hydrotherapy device operates much like a standard faucet with controls for water temperature and flow rate. Water enters the body at a safe rate of 0.25 psi. A built-in pressure gauge allows the colon hydrotherapist to monitor the water flow rate and resistance throughout the session.
The Closed System operates entirely by water. There is no motor or force in the equation.
We use the Aqua-Cleanse closed system which meets all the requirements set by the FDA for safety and sanitation as Class II medical equipment.
